I have a mismatched shooter that the barrel assembly is from a different gun. But I had to changed a few parts to make it function right (trigger issues). And I'm still not perfectly happy with it. I think these guns had a lot of "hand fitting" when assembled. If I every buy another broom, I'm only going to look at ones that are all matching.
That being said, I have considered buying a 9mm barrel assembly just to try on mine, but they always sell for so much! I think there are too many Star Wars fans out there building blaster replicas.
