Your pictures are a bit blurry, so I hesitate to say this, but can you get your money back?

The trigger, safety lever, take down lever, all should be strawed or at worst, bluish from age....
this is Simpsons LTD, their prices are fairly high, but you can see that many artilleries are less than what you paid
