Assuming that the brass screw has not buggered the threads and you can simply screw in a replacement, I'd say the price is about right. Maybe a couple of dollars high, but that is regional, and a bird in the hand...
I vote that you go for it. Buy it, shoot it rarely, and take care of it, and you will have a Luger that you enjoy looking at.
But if you really want a down and dirty shooter you may be able to save a few bucks and risk nothing by shooting it. True shooters bring from $750 to $1000.
