Steve,
You do realize that the barrel you bought is for a long frame/receiver found on the Model 1900 and some Model 1906 Lugers and won't work on later receivers such as a 20 Commercial? That is what Rick was referring to as long shank/short shank. If you think about cutting it down it is a bit involved and will require re-chambering and head spacing. I was considering buying it for one of my long frame projects but never got around to it. If you decide to go for another barrel and not modify this one, let me know.
