I have a friend who built a house about 15 years ago. His gun room is under the garage, so it is surrounded by concrete wall on all sides, top and bottom - except for the door which came from a bank that closed down. He just has draperies in front of the door.

He used a de-humidifier until about 4 years ago when I mentioned Damp Rid to him.
