I once considered it a 're-invention'...Until I read Gerard Henrotin's E-Book and recognized the 1909 Borchardt as being the prototype for Georg's 'Luger'... (1st pic)

Or was Luger's 1899 patent the prototype for Borchardt's 1909 design??? (2nd pic)
