Couldn't help myself
I had been thinking about getting one of the Ohio Ordinance Works 1918A3 BAR (a.k.a. SLR) and decided a few weeks ago to call them to see how long the waiting list was and how long to build once my number came up on the waiting list.
Turns out they had built ahead and actually had some in stock.
So I purchased one with the walnut stock (and California compliant ) and it got to my FFL & I did the paperwork and Kali 10 day wait period then picked it up this past weekend!
I love it and can't wait to get it to the range this weekend.
I haven't put all the hardware on it yet (carry handle & web sling) but will after my first visit to the range.
I find the bolt hold open device interesting which goes into the magazine (will purchase another for the other mag).
It came with a bunch of stuff including two magazines (kali compliant 10 rounds unfortunately) & a neutered flash hider.
I will take more pics this weekend and post them.
