Well, first of all I would say "Welcome to this forum of Luger enthusiasts"!
As usual it's just a matter of personal choice, but if I were you I would not shoot a full matching "Luger", and even with a "shooter" I would be very careful also in respect of the age of the gun.
Clean it properly like any other gun, lubricate it a bit, and store it in a dry place.
If you ever use it at the range have good fun and shoot safe! :-)
