Sure wish I had your book, Just don't have the money for one though. Thanks kindly for the reply. I did find a reference to P. W. in Ed's book (p.38 not the Pw pictured elswhere)

There is no letter suffix

There is no sear or (the remains of) a mag safety.

The gun will not accept most magazines. They bind right were the grip strap markings are causing one to think the markings were stamped without proper support for the frame.

I tried to get a picture of the grip strap but he was very reluctant. We are still working on a magazine trade so I might yet get that to happen.

Thanks for the info and I will let you know if I find out anything more about it.
