First of all I must admit that I never shoot my Luger pistols, but since I like to go at least once a week to the range with other guns I can tell you to check first the magazine; than consider that the so called "stove pipe" is a malfunction generally caused by a load too light for the recoil spring, or a recoil spring too heavy for the load, an exractor worn or with not enough tension, a loose or damaged ejector.
