The seller was reluctant to give me the full serial number but he trusted me to just use it to add to my data base. The statement about the bore is just some awkward wording, it has not been relined. The magazine #553 evidently went with a Borchardt that was parted out years ago as some parts of it have been reported but not the whole gun.

If you find a Borchardt holster in better condition it is either extremely rare or a reproduction. Borchardt holsters are notorious for their poor condition. The soft patent leather did not hold up well at all.
