"At the very bottom of this set of D-day photos is a link to an excellent set of photos surveying the war in Vietnam, from about 1963 to the fall of Saigon in 1975."

When ever I see photos of the Viet Nam conflict I am reminded of the extremely disgraceful way many American citizens, particularly College age kids treated the returning Warriors who fought one of the most difficult wars of all time. The constant heat and humidity alone would be enough to make the average american want to call it quires, but jungle warfare and all that it entails, not being certain who the enemy is, the booby traps that were ever present all that and then to come home to disrespectful and unappreciative fellow countrymen must have been very demoralizing. I have the greatest respect for all those that have experienced combat but particularly the Viet Nam Vets, may God bless them all.
