Take the top off and with just the top portion check to see if your sear bar is moving freely in and out on it's pivot. This portion will release the firing pin WITHOUT the bottom portion or the side plate. This is what I would check first. If the sear bar moves easily and fires the pistol (releases the firing pin) You will have that portion out of the way!
Then you can move on to the other sections. Trigger move with ease? section it out to troubleshoot.
