By 1939, Mauser was salt bluing their Lugers, including the vast majority of the commercial ones.

From what I can make out in our pictures, your's looks right as rain...

Take pictures without using the flash in indirect (shaded) sunlight outdoors. They will show the finish more accurately. Use a tripod and the camera's closeup setting to get sharp pictures.

BTW. a 1934 Mauser is a pocket pistol, not a Luger. "K" date Lugers made in 1934 had strawed parts, as they did until the change over to salt bluing during 1938.
