Even without an appeal, it will take years before the sentence is carried out. The military hasn't executed anyone since 1961 with some current inmates on death row for 25+ years.
Death is what this psycho wants. I think a lifetime in solitary confinement would be better although I would hate to see the government waste any more of our tax dollars on this POS than they already have.
The best thing that could probably happen is to publicly hang him with a piano wire soaked in bacon grease. But, that will never happen because worse than killing someone is offending them.
