Welcome to the forum!!
Your gun is a mismatched example with a WW2 Mauser made upper, (1939 42 code) and a WW1 Erfurt Arsenal lower frame. If you didn't pay too much, you have a nice, obviously reliable shooter.

One thing I would recommend. Your pistol came with a desirable, WW1 wood based magazine, which looks like it is in pretty good shape. It is an early mag for its year as it has no suffix and is the spare mag from an original rig, as it has the spare mag "+" simbol. Don't use this mag anymore, as the wood bases tend to crack with age. You can recoup maybe $150+ from your purchase price by selling the magazine to a collector and purchasing a Mec gar or other reliable after market magazine.

Nice find!
