If both descriptions are correct, a 1916 DWM both with that serial#, it didn't sell at that auction in 2009. Not a very photo minded auction site, for sure. Having attended a few auctions in britian, unless the auction is south of London and you're in north Scotland, you can pretty much drive to auctions anywhere and examine the goods personally though.
