Without getting into every detail on it, the fact that it has been at least partially refinished sort of shoots the heck out of the collector value. Original finish on a nice WW1 gun might bring $1200-$1500, this one probably well under a grand, probably $700 or so, maybe $800. It's a good looking gun but resist paying much over my figures for this one, as it is a "shooter".
