The story about Fed Ord is correct. They also made some long barrel Mauser carbines and also produced a few engraved C96's. They where in business back in the 70's or 80's. The heyday of surplus Chinese imports.
A good friend of mine used to do business with them.
Their Broomhandles with a detachable magazine where fairly popular.
