I wouldn't use Ebay to determine the "going price" for things like these. Gunbroker prices are probably a little more realistic although I've seen some stuff go very high there as well.
The problem with Ebay (actually one of dozens) is that they don't have a 15-minute rule like many other auction sites have. This creates a bidding frenzy in the last few minutes of the auction which drives prices sky high sometimes. I watched a common set of K98 ammo pouches go to almost $400 within the last few minutes of the auction because two bidders went after each other. As far as I was concerned, both ended up being losers in that auction.
