Although slathered in grease, the gun looks refinished, based on the soft lines, (lack of crisp edges) and dished out proofs.

I have never seen this particular Nazi eagle and swastika symbol before. It is not official, to the best of my knowledge and must have been a civilian produced piece of jewelry or similar, which was appropriated by a GI and inlaid into the grips.
