Rommel, the Dessert Fox has a son Manfred, who was a Luftwaffe Flak cannon crew member in WW2. He later became mayor of Stuttgard for many years. The Dessert Fox's wife Lucie actually retired here to Florida for many years before passing away!
Many people don't know that Rommel also had an illegitimate daughter, Gertrude.
