A few million grateful newly minted ex-illegal immigrants could really boost your election chances, couldn't they?

I am from the Chicago area. I left there 31 years ago. Best move I've ever made. I still visit because relatives live there. My downstate relatives (near Quincy) don't think much of Chicago or Cook County...

Plain and simple... someone probably got through to Quinn and impressed him with the short future political career he'll have if he does the right thing and puts Illinois concealed carry on a footing that doesn't infringe the Second Amendment.
