OK, Day Two commences!!!

Bit of a delay...Doesn't matter to me; I have one auction/bid in at the end of this session (last page of 20)...

I won't know I've been outbid until about 6:00 o'clock...

Realistically, after watching the live feed yesterday for about an hour and a half, there is no way an online bid on a 20 second auction can win...The floor can always outbid it...Too much time lag, even with your super-duper FiOS (or even fractional T1) connection...

Only sure way to win is to bid $50,000 on a $2,000 item weeks beforehand...

They're off!!! Looks like the big-buck items are first...$20,000 hammer price for a Henry rifle...

1775 WW II Singer M1911A1 = $35,000

1777 Colt 1902 Military = $3,000

1933 Gyrojet = $3,000

Well, the Second day of the auction is over...And I've received my first rejection notice...

"Your Bids Were Unsucessful
June 29, 2013
None of your bids were successful on items auctioned today. If you have bids in the remainder of the auction, you will be notified again. "

One down, two to go...

Edit: Day Three come & gone...None of my bids were successful...

"None of your bids were successful on items auctioned today, but we would like to sincerely thank you for participating and helping us have a successful auction!"

My bids, all of which were a couple hundred over the projected max, were at least a thousand under the hammer price...

All were won by 'floor'...In fact, 'kachina' from Vernat Utah, must have won a couple hundred thousand worth of items...'Terrysands' from Ohio was close behind, and I only noticed two other winners...Everything else went to 'floor'...There must have been a mob on the 'floor'...

All the items I was interested in, whether I bid or not, all went for what I would consider 'retail' prices...maybe a couple hundred more...Or a thousand more, in three cases...

Not a place to find bargains...At least not for items you want...
