I humped one of these for a while.
The term shoulder fired is somewhat of an exageration.
They are heavy and extremely uncomfortable to carry.
All hard edges and sharp corners.
Hard to believe the design persisted as they are complicated and finicky due to adjusting timing and headspace.
takes a few minutes or more plus tools to change a barrel.
