Again, This is a nice gun that would fool most "gun show" experts. The only immediate flag is the blued safety bar, which can be restored back to bare metal in about three seconds, once removed from the frame. The German badge can also be removed from the grips and the grips restored by Hugh, if desired. (The badge does not appear inletted into the wood. If it is just a pin holding the badge on, as I suspect, I would just remove the badge and leave the small hole alone. If authentic, the German badge could net you another $50-$70, if sold separately).
This is a high end shooter, IMHO.
