Is there any reason not to just replace them with nice looking grips? The gun isn't numbers matching. I just removed them for the first time and I don't see any obvious numbers on them. I see some letters but...I can't seem to see anything that says they are original to the lower half of the gun. But, then again I don't know what I'm looking at for sure.
