Oops sorry, I had read it was a Colt 1917 but that was a while ago & the site I guess was wrong.
Just curious alanint if you know, was the brushing on the upper front of the barrel done at the factory or was it someone's idea later. Plus is it to diffuse any potential reflection of light or what?
