Hi, I re-posted this over here since discussion isn't allowed in the for sale forum.

Also, I checked the B-1 appendix in Hallock and van de Kant's "The Mauser Parabellum" and none of this period's magazine serial numbers show the kind of seraph font that the "9" digits in this one have.

The dies used left digits with a different appearance.

You asked on the other forum about what this means. It's possible that this was ground and re-stamped somewhere other than the factory. That could also account for the loss of one of the Waffenamt digits (the leading 6).

Look at it on end for roundness.
