Hi Jack, If you can post a photo like the views shown below, we should be able to tell if your gun has been re-blued. I wouldn't expect barrel serial halos on a no suffix 1906 Navy like yours, but the receiver rails should be "in the white". The first photo shows a gun with original finish, the second, one that has been re-blued (among other things).
