Well, we know the mechanics have been working them over...I'd guess they're machinable...I put the dish at 1 3/4" diameter...Biggest end mill I have is 1 1/2"...So if I milled the dishes, it'd be in the superspacer [rotary indexing head] and then I could use any size carbide end mill I have...Take a while to set up, and maybe need a special jig...

I'm only trying to dish the knob like the 1900's...I don't care about the knurling...It's for visual impact only, not for authenticity...

I'll have lots of time for projects like this after 30 November...
