Garrell, welcome to the forum.

I'm sure that you have read enough to know that Navy model Lugers are rather rare, quite valuable and often faked by assembling and marking parts from similar pistols.

For that reason alone, I don't think I'd try to engage this purchase based on photographs and opinions from the forum. We have the experts on these pistols here. The problem is that you often have to have a pistol in hand to be sure.

Even after review of well photographed pictures on the forum, I'd still recommend that you have the Luger professionally appraised prior to making an offer.
