N Prefix guns
They are different productions runs, Tom.
Lugers + P38's + PP's with the same N prefix Serial Numbers have been reported.. I have one of the N Prefix P38's... Also Luger N prefix mags with the same no. as a P38 have been reported,
A postwar PP with an N prefix is also reported that duplicates a P38 number..[by Alex] .so, they must have made at least 3 runs with new frames all using the N prefix.
