Steve, the interent, forget it. I am talking about pawnshops that sell guns and some gunshops where they couldn't possibly sell it for this much. Oddly no one else disagreed with me. They just are not rare and are very common. I am in no way insulting you, I think buying the things on-line or even if you live near Cabella's, they are too much. But eventually people buy them. I saw a 1916 DWM here in Florida in NRA very good condition and they wanted 1,000. 1923 Commercials are just by no means rare and in a sense they represnt the lowest priced Lugers at this period in time, if you like it, by all means buy it. BUt with my experience with Lugers look around a lot. This is mine, I paid 699 for it in 2010. Nonetheless the conition of this is very good and I have never seen a GERMANY on the sideplate? Man you jusrt never know with these commercials.
