What does the what looks like and A above the trigger guard stand for? This a part of the serial number, called a suffix.( 5390 a ) is the actual whole serial number.

The tool with downward swept wings is likely an eagle 63 look closely under the eagle.

Most but not all G dates were made by Mauser and Mauser serialed this toggle pin so that is correct for your pistol.
