Default Pre-WW2 9mm ammunition boxes

Here are some 9mm ammunition boxes from Spandau and DWM.

The top 3 were manufactured by the Royal Rifle Factory in Spandau, 2 of the boxes show an interesting remark (they also show that it is not a good idea to use plastic tape). Barely readable is the phrase 'Aufgearb. Hülsen' (or 'Reworked Cases'). It is a little known fact that used cases were recycled and reused. The cases were marked with a small circular symbol indicating that they were reloaded.

The bottom box was made by DWM under their 'P28' code name.

Box 1:
Spandau, August 1914. Reused cases.

Box 2:
Spandau, February 1914.

Box 3:
Spandau, August 1914, Reused cases.

Box 4:
DWM Karlsruhe, Mach 1914.

Box 5:
DWM Karlsruhe, lot 8, 1937.
