Counterfeiters don't "buff". A serious fake requires all hand finishing. Buffing always rounds over corners, blurs markings and creates waves in flats. A high dollar fake requires the same care as a quality restoration. Sometimes the only difference between a fake and a restoration is how it is represented in the for sale ad.
