Have you read the write up that Dwight Gruber did on early lugers?

There is not really a 'exact' listing of years, you can get a pretty good guess. In 1903 serial numbers 6100-7100 (approx) were test lugers for the US Army, so I would think one that is 13225 is around 1905...

Can you provide pictures? Is it all matching (commercial numbering versus military style)

I collect 1900's and like them, but I am still learning about them.
