Hi Jerry,

Take your pictures with a digital camera using indirect light (outdoors in the shade is good). Use a tripod and the camera's self-timer to eliminate camera shake. If you have a digital SLR, you can do your own focus adjustments, otherwise use the camera's closeup setting (the icon is often a flower graphic) to get in close.
