Smile 1917 DWM Luger reblued

Here is my first and only Luger...among a number of milsurp pistols WWII - Cold War eras.

I just wanted to try out a Luger without spending a fortune, and wanted a "shooter". Top end is all matching parts, bottom end is all matching, but top & bottom don't match. I got two MecGar mags for it.

It appeared to have been reblued then rarely, if ever fired. I have since corrected that situation. It's an OK gloss blue but they buffed the heck out of it because the 1917 is barely visible. The other marks are fairly sharp.

Holster is a reproduction from North Africa campaign. My dad served in North Africa in Army Air Corps cryptography unit 1943-end of war.
