Default The proper way to Sight in a Luger.

I just read that the correct way to sight in a Luger is to have the sight picture with the front blade dead center at the bottom of the V of the rear sight. AND I always thought you aimed it like a conventional sight, with the front blade on top of the center of the rear, with the target resting on top of the front blade ,

Now this source says the top of the blade rests under the v of the rear, meaning you could not see it. Is this nonsense true?
