Me, too...NYS Journeyman Millwright in Kimberly-Clark paper mill...had to be able to weld (stick, MIG, TIG); run lathe, mill, shaper; pour concrete; wire a house; shingle a roof; repair production machinery...Pretty much everything...But machine tools (lathe & mill + TIG) was my 1st love...
...Really annoyed me when manufacturing left my region and I had to go into service industry...
