Apparently the contract was never signed. I would guess that a small batch of about 50 examples for trials was probably purchased around 1903/1905 for evaluation. I am very much on the lookout for hese pistols in local collections.
Pedro Capetillo, an advanced Mexican Collector who has a home on Reforma in Lomas Chapultepec, would be the one collector in Mexico I would ask. It has been years, but the last time I visited Pedro his Luger collection numbered well over 100 choice, unusual variations.
