This miss-feed is very typical of the 30 Luger.
It happens when the main spring is too strong and bolt does not go all the way back on the reload, instead of the bolt face the cartridge gets picked up by the hold open cut in the breach block and driven forward b y it it gets jammed by the face of the breach block.

I usually take the main spring out and cut one coil off,

then assemble and test fire, if it does not work , you do it again, one coil at the time.

Sometimes you have to cut 3 coils of the spring till it's starts working reliably.

Because you have the stronger then needed spring, you do not need a new one, you can experiment with the one you have.

If after 3 coils are off , and it is not working still, then it's something else.

You also got to make sure the toggle moves freely in the slide ...
