Thanks guys!! At this point in life it is my priviledge and responsibility to pass on to the next generation what little knowledge I have have accumulated over the years. I make mistakes, but for the most part, I am extending what I have learned from my mentors. In rememberance, I frequently quote the teachings of Mr. John Morgan, who taught me a wealth of information on early Lugers and admonished me to "acquire the best I could afford". I encourage all Luger collectors, old and new, to read every available reference you can find on Luger history and development.
