In that era there were many companies and gunsmiths putting together a myrid of lugers. They did not care what sight was on what. Unfortunately this persisted with a few of our US dealers. I would be surprised if a luger ever left Germany, at least from DWM, with two rear sights. If you will look in Kenyons you will see that 1920 carbine has one rear sight. There is absolutely no reason for two rear sights except to sell a luger regardless of correctness. Bill
