In the first pic it looks like the commanding officer is watching the time. Probable late for a date.

In the second pic he is laughing it up with the guys telling dirty jokes. Probable got into the "flask"...

Great pics! I don't see all that many P-38 pictures considering the amount of guns that were issued.
