I heard story saying people add one or two Lugers into trading to make a gun deal fair in 1950s or 60s (?). That story, if true, it must be hard for new Luger production to make any profit at that time. If the receiver is 1939 marked, it's most likely a bring-back. If comes with capture paper, that piece of paper worth some money. If not, it's by imagination, bring-back could be true, but verbal story's value is ...... at least should not be counted. More importantly, it must be original and matching, if asking premium.
