Lugers are fun!!
Life would be a bit empty without them. Where else could you have so many opinion and intrigue. I was examineing the leather sling that came with my 1917 artillery. It has a history in an of itself, Just one of hundreds.The Artillery Luger, a 1917 DWM owned until the owner got shot and picked up his colllegue of the 169th Baden infantry. As a History/Law Major and after promising George Anderson it benifactor to go easy, it was a war torn example. I noticed a most beautiful repair even Jerry would be proud. After examining the condition and at the advice of both George and Jerry I am having an exact duplicate made to fulfill my part preserving such a priceless momento. The remainder of the leather was amazing for its age.
