Tom, you may be thinking of the holsters that were designed for the 9-mm Dreyse and sold to the Prussian Landgendarmerie. These holsters are stamped
L.G. inside and many were converted for use with police P08s since the Landgendarmerie apparently canceled its order for the Dreyses. I have seen (erroneous) speculation that these converted holsters were originally for Walther M6s.
